Mr. Tang comes to this new position having demonstrated his leadership experience in several previous tenures in hospitality management. Most recently, he was the General Manager of the Westin Ningbo Hotel where he played a vital role of conducting the hotel’s successful opening. Prior to joining Starwood, Mr. Tang worked in executive and senior management positions for a variety of international hotel brands including Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Renaissance Hotels and Hilton Hotels. Being involved in several hotel openings, Mr. Tang has gained valuable opening experience and the opportunity to apply his creativity and innovation. Furthermore, he is passionate about mentoring younger hoteliers and helping them develop their own careers.
