May Pendraat has joined Rosewood Hotel Group as VP of Sales and Marketing

In her new role, May oversees all Asia Pacific strategic sales and marketing, focusing on sales operations, revenue management, distribution, e-commerce and loyalty marketing, across Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, New World Hotels and pentahotels brands. May also provides expertise to support individual operating hotels and ensure the successful marketing of new hotel openings in the region. May has more than 25 years sales and marketing experience in the Asia Pacific hospitality industry. Most recently, she was vice president of sales and marketing at Marco Polo Hotels for two years following a three-year position as area director of marketing at Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel. Previously, May was with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts for more than 20 years, holding sales and marketing titles at Park Hyatt Shanghai, Hyatt Regency Perth and Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. May graduated from Florida International University in the U.S. with a bachelor’s degree in hotel management and began her career as a corporate trainee with Hyatt Regency in Macau.
