Grand Nikko Bali takes great pleasure to announce the recent appointment of Thomas Maier as Director of Food & Beverage. He comes to the resort with over 10 years of culinary experience at a number of luxury hotel brands. This is his first time working in Bali following a succession of similar roles with Anantara Xishuangbanna Resort & Spa, IHG Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites Landmark and Kempinski Resort & Spa Sanya in China. With his expertise and culinary vision, Thomas will ensure the entire F&B team of Grand Nikko Bali will continue to provide guests with the best service and cuisine.Born and raised in Austria, Thomas earned his Kitchen & Service Operations Certificate from the Hotel & Tourism Institute Modul Vienna. He began his career as a hospitality executive by managing his own restaurant in Vienna. Thomas was able to develop his kitchen skills and he later accepted F&B roles with renowned hotel brands in Shenzhen and Shanghai, China.

Thomas Maier is an alumnus of MODUL University Vienna | Department of Tourism and Hospitality – Class of 2001.
