Thirayuth Chirathivat, chief executive officer of Centara Hotels & Resorts, has announced the appointment of Steve Chong as general manager of Sandy Beach Non Nuoc Resort Da Nang Vietnam, Managed by Centara. Steve is a Singaporean national. He has had over 45 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has worked with leading hotels including Hilton Singapore, Shangri-La Singapore, Asia Hotel Bangkok and Ambassador Hotel Bangkok. Prior to being appointed as general manager of Sandy Beach Non Nuoc Resort Da Nang Vietnam, Managed by Centara, Steve was projects consultant at Hospitality Ventures Company Limited in Yangon, Myanmar.
