Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has appointed Elizabeth Dexter director of sales for Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort, a Benchmark Resort® located oceanfront on the Caribbean island of Curacao. Phillipe Eversdijk, Benchmark's general manager for Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort, made the announcement. Elizabeth Dexter brings more than 15 years of experience in sales within the hospitality industry to her new position. She most recently served as regional sales director for the Radisson Blu Resort in St. Martin. She has held senior sales positions with the five diamond Fiesta Americana Hotels as well as select upscale Wyndham properties in the US and the Caribbean. Ms. Dexter earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish degree from Hood College, Maryland. She is a member of Meeting Professionals International, the Florida International Alumnae Association and the Society of Incentive Travel Executives. She resides in Hollywood, Florida, and Curacao.
