Two General Managers working for Accor Hotels in North Queensland are effectively ‘swapping’ roles and cities this month, switching permanently between top jobs at the Mercure Townsville and Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort. Peter Richardson has been appointed General Manager of Accor’s Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort, departing the Mercure Townsville where he has been based as General Manager since 2005.
