Benchmark Hospitality International has appointed Michael Platt General Manager for Hotel Arista, a Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels property located in Naperville, Illinois, near Chicago. Greg Champion, Benchmark’s executive vice president and COO, made the announcement. Previously, Michael Platt was general manager for the Viceroy Santa Monica Hotel, a boutique property located in Los Angeles. Prior to this he held leadership positions for Hilton Hotels at properties in New York City, Puerto Rico and Southern California. Mr. Platt is a graduate of Lausanne in Switzerland and more recently graduated from Cornell (GMP Program) University. He has relocated to the Chicagoland area.
