Ahmed Hozaien has been appointed as managing director of FRHI’s three-brand complex in Makkah – Makkah Clock Royal Tower, a Fairmont Hotel, Raffles Makkah Palace and Swissôtel Makkah. In this role, Hozaien will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the hotels, which collectively includes 3306 guestrooms, suites and residences, and 15 food and beverage outlets. Prior to his appointment, Hozaien was general manager of the Pullman Zamzam Makkah, where he was responsible for the rebranding of the 1315-key hotel. He brings more than 25 years of hospitality experience to his new role, having worked with multiple international brands in the F&B and operations areas. Hozaien previously spent 18 years with Accor Hotels, managing properties in Egypt, Cuba, Vietnam, and Saudi Arabia.
