Patrick Andres has been appointed as Regional Vice-President Asia-Pacifc at Duetto

Patrick Andres is a veteran of the Asia-Pacific hospitality technology space, whose management positions include hotel sales, hospitality automation and electronic distribution. He most recently served as the Asia-Pacific Vice President and Managing Director for Travelport, a leading GDS vendor. Prior to that, he built and ran regional operations for Sabre Hospitality Solutions, which provides hotel marketing and distribution services. In that role, he oversaw the company’s expansion to Japan, China, India, South-East Asia and the Pacific. Before Sabre, Andres oversaw Asia for Micros-Fidelio, opening both its Hong Kong and Singapore offices; and served as Director of Business Development for Expedia Travel, with a focus on building and implementing Direct-Connect interfaces between hotel reservation systems and the Expedia family of sites. He also worked for SAP and IATA. Andres is a graduate of one of Canada’s leading hotel schools, received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa and is a frequent speaker at industry events throughout Asia.
