Christopher Hur has been appointed as Recipient of the Inaugural ISHC Rising Star Award Asia Pacific at The International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC)

The International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) and the Hotel Investment Conference Asia Pacific (HICAP) presented Christopher Hur with the 2014 inaugural Rising Star Award Asia Pacific. As the Vice President of Acquisitions & Development of Host Hotels & Resorts, Hur plays an important role in the investment decisions that Host makes in the Asia Pacific region. Hur has lived and worked in Asia for the past seven years and is a graduate of Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration. The Rising Star Award Asia Pacific was created in 2014 by the ISHC and HICAP, to recognize emerging leadership talent in the Asia Pacific region from the hospitality industry. Award criteria require that a nominee be 35 years and under, be currently working and living in the Asia Pacific region and have a minimum of two of the most recent five years' experience living in the Asia Pacific region and working in the hotel development and/or investment field.

Christopher Hur is an alumnus of Cornell | Nolan School of Hotel Administration .
