ART Rotana Amwaj Islands, the stunning new luxury hotel soon to open in the heart of Amwaj, has welcomed on board Joe Batshoun as its new General Manager. Joe has been heading the pre-opening team of ART Rotana and is responsible for the overall running and efficient operation of the art-inspired property. A veteran in the hospitality industry with over 25 years of experience working in three different continents, Joe brings a wealth of knowledge to the table and has been recognized multiple times throughout his career with financial and leadership excellence awards. Dynamic, focused with a strategic approach to business, Joe opened Yas Island Rotana & Centro Yas Island Abu Dhabi in 2009 and was instrumental in the successful operation of these 2 properties. Prior to joining the Rotana Group , Joe was Area General Manager with Marriott overseeing 3 properties.

Joe Batshoun is an alumnus of Cornell | Nolan School of Hotel Administration – Class of 2013.
