Martin Gilbert is appointed as General Manager of Delta Bessborough® effective December 31, 2014. Martin's career at Delta spans many years most recently as General Manager of Delta Trois Rivieres ® and Director Sales and Marketing at Delta Fredericton®. Prior to joining Delta, Martin held a variety of leadership roles in sales and operations with global hospitality companies.

Delta's corporate history began in 1962 when five partners purchased the Delport Inn, a 62-room hotel in Richmond, British Columbia. From this base, the Delta chain was born and its history has been one of growth, driven by innovation and a strong commitment to guest service and satisfaction. By 1970, Delta had become the leading hotel operator in British Columbia and from there Delta pursued an aggressive growth strategy.
