Bertil was previously the Hotel Manager of Delta Montreal for the last two years and previously Director of Rooms Division at Delta Centre Ville from 2005 to 2009. Bertil started his Canadian hospitality career at Delta Montreal in 1994.

Delta's corporate history began in 1962 when five partners purchased the Delport Inn, a 62-room hotel in Richmond, British Columbia. From this base, the Delta chain was born and its history has been one of growth, driven by innovation and a strong commitment to guest service and satisfaction. By 1970, Delta had become the leading hotel operator in British Columbia and from there Delta pursued an aggressive growth strategy.
