Balan Paravantavida has been appointed as Hotel Manager at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai

Paravantavida joins with more than 30 years of hospitality experience in handling pre-openings, conversions and takeovers of Marriott International hotels in six countries, across three continents. He brings with him a strong operational background and experience in business, luxury convention and resort properties. Prior to his new post, he had a successful two and a half year term as the general manager of the JW Marriott Hotel Aerocity, New Delhi. Before this, he spent over a decade at the Marriott Marquis New York, where he handled over six leadership positions. In his new position, Paravantavida will lead the hotel team of 1,450 associates and more than 70 nationalities.

Balan Paravantavida is an alumnus of Cornell | Executive and Professional Education – Class of 1989.
