Stephen John Daniel has been appointed as assistant general manager at The Domain Bahrain

With a clear passion for hospitality, Daniel has been part of the ever-evolving industry since 1987. In 1993, he moved to Bahrain and worked at Holiday Inn, now known as Crowne Plaza Hotel, in the housekeeping department as a room boy. Throughout his career, he moved up the industry ladder and went from room boy to telephone operator, to receptionist, to reservations in-charge, to sales representative. In 2002, Daniel joined the Al Safir Hotel & Tower team. There he held various positions including sales manager, rooms division manager, director of business development managing Al Safir Residence (opening team) and most recently as director of sales & marketing. As for his strengths, Daniel is knowledgeable in hotel management, operations, budgeting, forecasting, reservations systems and online travel management systems. He has extensive feeder market knowledge spanning the KSA, Doha and Dubai.
