Ahmed Azmy has been promoted to resident manager at InterContinental Cairo Citystars

InterContinental Cairo Citystars, Egypt, has announced the promotion of Ahmed Azmy from executive assistant manager in charge of rooms division to resident manager. With 15 years of hospitality experience spanning city hotels and resorts, in his new position Azmyy will be in charge of the day-to-day operations of InterContinental Cairo Citystars, along with guest experience as well as international brand standards implementation. In 1999, he joined IHG and worked at Semiramis InterContinental in the front office department. He moved on to join the Crowne Plaza Sharm el Sheikh opening team as assistant manager and in 2004, Azmy joined InterContinental Cairo Citystars as assistant front office manager. He was later promoted to front office manager and in 2010 assumed the position of director of rooms. Since 2013, Azmy held the position of executive assistant manager in charge of rooms.
