Saraid Carey has been appointed as Executive Assistant Manager – Sales and Marketing at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok

Gordon Fuller, Area Vice President General Manager of Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok is pleased to announced the appointment of Saraid Carey as Executive Assistant Manager – Sales and Marketing. Starting her career in the hotel industry in Banquet Event Services at Grand Hyatt Melbourne, this followed shortly as a part of the opening team for Park Hyatt Melbourne. Saraid demonstrated talent that ensured a quick ascent, and within three years she was promoted to Director of Events. In 2004-2009, she joined The Starlight Children’s Foundation, one of Australia’s most respected and trusted children’s charities (for seriously ill children) as the National Events Manager. From 2009 to 2010, she undertook a major change to the industry of fashion and was appointed General Manager of Business Development and Partnerships, for L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival, the largest consumer Fashion Festival globally. From July 2010, Saraid re-joined Grand Hyatt Melbourne in the midst of a $65Million AUD renovation, this time as Director of Sales and Marketing. In January 2013, she was promoted to the role of Executive Assistant Manager – Sales and Marketing. Within this new capacity her influence became known and recognized across the guest and staff experience; a deeply engaged leader who ensured her role expand far greater to the positioning of the hotel, to drive revenue channels; while working with the management team to ensure the hotel product and its services aligned at all times with the vision of the hotel and Grand Hyatt brand.
