Michael Schmitt has been appointed as Cluster General Manager at Conrad Dalian & Hilton Dalian

Hilton Dalian and Conrad Dalian has announced the appointment of Michael Schmitt as Cluster General Manager. Mr. Schmitt will report to David Kelly, Vice President, North & South China, Hilton Worldwide, and will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's daily operations. Mr. Schmitt joined Hilton Dalian and Conrad Dalian from Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa where he held the position of General Manager.Prior to Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa in Thailand, Mr. Schmitt was the General Manager at Hilton Adelaide in South Australia. With 19 years of hospitality experience, Mr. Schmitt has worked at various Hilton properties in the U.K., Germany, Australia and China. He also worked for Pan Pacific Singapore from 2003 to 2008. Mr. Schmitt's experience in the lodging industry spans functions such as front office, sales & marketing and general management. As a hotelier of Hilton, Mr. Schmitt led the team of Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa to accomplish a lot of significant awards in market share, revenue increasing, guest satisfaction and loyalty.
