Clive Edwards has been promoted to General Manager at AYANA Hotels & Resorts

AYANA Resort and Spa Bali has announced the promotion of Clive Edwards to General Manager, recognizing the key role he has played over the last five years in leading the exclusive Jimbaran resort to a successful performance. Clive will oversee the continued evolution of AYANA Resort and Spa Bali – Bali’s only integrated resort, which also includes The Villas at AYANA Resort and RIMBA Jimbaran Bali by AYANA. Clive brings over 15 years experience in luxury hospitality to the role. After starting his career in his native Jamaica, he joined AYANA in 2009 as Director of Rooms, Executive Assistant Manager. He was appointed Acting General Manager in 2012, through to the opening of RIMBA in November 2013. That year, he was appointed Corporate Director of Rooms Operations for Capella Hotel Group based in Atlanta, Georgia, before returning to Bali in 2014 as interim General Manager of AYANA and RIMBA. His official appointment was announced by Horst Schulze, chairman of hotel management company Capella Hotel Group. “Clive is as well prepared as he is deserving of this promotion,” said Mr Schulze. “Since 2009, the resort has been voted World’s Best Spa Resort by Conde Nast Traveler and has been awarded by Travel + Leisure among Asia’s Best. Quality goals were also exceeded with over 91% of employees rating their satisfaction either 9 or 10 out of 10.”

Clive Edwards is an alumnus of University Of The West Indies, St. Augustine – Class of 1996.
