Michael Newcombe, new GM, brings with him a wealth of international experience from working for Four Seasons in London, Dublin, Sydney and the United States. His role with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts also currently includes overseeing the 38 Four Seasons Spas in the Americas. “I am excited to move to the entertainment epicentre of the city, especially as I began my hospitality career in Humphrey Bogart’s film backdrop of Casablanca, Morocco and then worked with Disney in France,” says Newcombe. “This famed hotel is fortunate to have so many film industry events and such passionate, seasoned employees.” Most recently, Newcombe lived 28 miles north of Beverly Hills, serving as General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, where he was instrumental in the success of the Spa and the on-site California Health & Longevity Institute. He first arrived to work in the United States as General Manager of Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas in 2007.
