Geraldine Dobey has been appointed as General Manager at Hotel Fouquet's Barrière

Hotel Fouquet’s Barrière, the renown Parisian hotel on the Champs-Elysées, has appointed Geraldine Dobey as the new general manager. Dobey received her Bachelor’s Degree with honors in Hotel & Catering Management from the Galway Institute of Technology in Ireland. She began her career in the hotel industry in 1991 and held several operational positions before becoming hotel manager at the Hilton London Mews in 1999. She has served as the Hotel Manager at the Hilton London Hyde Park, and director of operations at the Langham Hilton. In 2003, the Hilton Group appointed her general manager of the Hilton Paris. She ran that hotel for five years before taking charge of the Hilton Arc de Triomphe. Then in 2013, she was appointed hotel manager of the Mandarin Oriental Geneva.

Geraldine Dobey is an alumnus of Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology – Class of 1991.
