Andrew Thomson has been appointed as General Manager at The Halkin by COMO

The Halkin by COMO, London, has appointed Andrew Thomson as its new General Manager. Andrew joins the Belgravia hotel, located on Halkin Street, from nearby sister hotel, Metropolitan by COMO, London, where he was Hotel Manager for over six years. UK-born Andrew has been at the forefront of hospitality management and development for over 20 years, having worked with some of the world’s leading hotels. He began his career in guest services at the InterContinental from 1998 to 2005 and worked his way up to department head. After a period at The Landmark London, he joined COMO Hotels and Resorts in 2006 as Account Director for Corporate Sales and successfully developed business with key multinational companies and the Middle East. In summer 2008 he took the opportunity to move back into operations and has been in management with Metropolitan by COMO, London ever since.

Andrew Thomson is an alumnus of Washington State University (WSU) – Class of 1997.
