Grant Ruddiman has been appointed as General Manager at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates

Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates has appointed previous Jumeirah Group GM, Grant Ruddiman as its new general manager. Grant Ruddiman takes over from Konstantin Zeuke and brings more than 30 years’ hospitality experience from roles at Jumeirah Group, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Sun International. His experience includes eight hotel openings, multiple refurbishments and several upgrades and business re-engineering projects. Most recently, Ruddiman was complex general manager & area manager overseeing Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre Residence and Jumeirah Creekside Hotel — a role he had held since August 2011. Before that, he was GM: property openings, where he looked after the pre-opening plan and framework for all new Jumeirah hotel openings worldwide. Prior to moving to Dubai in 2011, Ruddiman was based in Jordan, where he oversaw the pre-opening planning and coordination for three hotels on the Saraya Aqaba Resort for Jumeirah Group as pre - opening complex general manager. He has also worked with Starwood Hotels & Resorts in management roles in Germany and South Africa from 2004 – 2007, and held GM roles at two Sun International properties in South Africa before that. Ruddiman, who joined Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates this month, will be supported by newly appointed director of sales and marketing, Alexander Suski.
