With many years of luxury Hotel experience across the globe, Fredrik was previously Hotel Manager ofFour Seasons Hotel Shanghai. Taking on the role of General Manager marks his next chapter in an extensive career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. A native of Sweden, Fredrik joined Four Seasons as Food and Beverage Director at the former Four SeasonsHotel Dublin in 2006, where his passion for exceptional service, innovative concepts, energy and commitment to excellence was immediately recognised, and quickly he earned a promotion to Hotel Manager at the formerFour Seasons Hotel Philadelphia. After two happy years in Pennsylvania, Fredrik’s spirit of wanderlust took him to China to join the pre-opening team at Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou. The extended pre-opening in Guangzhou allowed Fredrik the opportunity to take on two temporary assignments as acting Resort Manager in Chiang Mai and again acting Hotel Manager in Jakarta. Since February 2012, he has been the Hotel Manager ofFour Seasons Hotel Shanghai.

Fredrik Blomqvist is an alumnus of SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern – Class of 1996.
