Alfred Paulsen has been appointed as General Manager at Dorsett Putrajaya

Dorsett Hospitality International is pleased to announce the appointment of Alfred Paulsen as General Manager for the soon-to-open Dorsett Putrajaya, a midscale hotel located in the federal administrative capital of Putrajaya, Malaysia. Alfred was most recently the General Manager of Dorsett Grand Labuan, the only five star hotel in the duty free haven of Labuan, Malaysia. Under his leadership the Dorsett Grand Labuan achieved numerous accolades such as the 2014 Global Luxury Business Hotel Award accorded by World Luxury Hotel Awards; the 2014 Best Business Hotel Brand Award Malaysia 2014 accorded by Global Brand Magazine and most recently, the 2015 Certificate of Excellence by Trip Advisor. His association with Dorsett began in May 2008 when he joined Dorsett Grand Subang, Malaysia as Director of Food and Beverage; and was promoted as the hotel’s Director of Operations in September 2010. With more than 28 years of hospitality experience, Alfred’s illustrative career included stints with a various renowned hotel chains in Malaysia such as Sheraton Subang Hotel & Towers, Star Cruises, TGI Friday's, Berjaya Best Western Langkawi, Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort, Mutiara Beach Resort Langkawi, Penang Mutiara Beach Resort (Leading Hotel of the World), Pangkor Laut Resort and Pan Pacific Resort Pangkor. He is also a CHA holder which is a Certified Hotel Administrator with the international well known American Hotel and Lodging Association.
