The Leela Palaces, Hotels, and Resorts is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Sameer Sud as the General Manager of The Leela Mumbai, the flagship hotel of the The Leela Group. Mr Sud has enjoyed a long association of over 20 years with The Leela Group holding varied positions and has ably led teams within the Leela properties in Mumbai, Goa and Bangalore. He was previously the Resident Manager at The Leela Palace Bangalore. Having graduated from the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai, Mr Sud will now oversee the overall operations and management of The Leela Mumbai. This 391-room iconic hotel is set amidst 11 acres of lush landscaped gardens, cascading waterfalls and a lotus fountain. The Leela Mumbai offers all the facilities the discerning traveller would expect from a five star luxury hotel with an experience of the essence of India. Mr Sud, started his career in hospitality with The Leela Group as a part of the prestigious Leela Management Training Programme. This executive training programme has delivered over the years, quality professionals who are now at the forefront of some of the Leela properties as well as many leading hotels chains.
