Steve Cadaret has been named general manager of DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando – Lake Buena Vista, in Orlando, Florida, effective immediately. Cadaret will oversee the day-to-day operation of the 229-suite hotel at Walt Disney World Resort and a short walk from Disney Springs, the new reimagined Downtown Disney. Cadaret most recently held the position of regional director of operations ONE Hospitality Group overseeing a portfolio of 7 limit and full service hotels in Texas and Oklahoma. He began his extensive hospitality career in 1989 with Marriott holding various management positions in front office, housekeeping and food and beverage. He was district general manager of Hyatt Place Chicago, opening the first branded Hyatt Place hotel, area general manager of Hyatt Place Orlando Universal and the Orlando Convention Center and more recently area general manager Embassy Suites DFW South. Cadaret attended North Lake Community College Irving, Texas and is a member of DFW Hotel Association, HSMAI and the Hotel Association of North Texas.
