Suncadia, A Destination Hotel, is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Erickson as its new spa director. She began her career in the mid-90s at Nordstrom in San Francisco working as the spa department manager. From Nordstrom, Erickson went on to work as the spa director for Ritz-Carlton Resort in Ha f Moon By, Calif., PRO Sports Club in Bellevue, Wash. and Spa Agio in Redmond, Wash. Additionally, she held the position of director of accounts for Natural Resources Spa Consulting Inc. Before moving to Suncadia, Erickson had returned to Nordstrom, this time at the company’s Seattle, Wash. headquarters, as its spa director. As the director of Glade Spring Spa, Erickson looks forward to growing the brand in the Pacific Northwest and continuing to offer the best services and product selections to guests. During her workday, Erickson loves interacting with people, both the guests and her team members, and when she is not working, she enjoys wine tasting, hiking and volunteering, which she can enjoy on the Suncadia property.
