Keraton at The Plaza, A Luxury Collection Hotel proudly announces its new appointed General Manager: Stephan Sieberg, a German born proficient hotelier arrayed with 29 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Previously Stephan Sieberg has the experience in working for Starwood Brand properties, such as Westin and Sheraton in various countries. He started his career within Starwood in 1989 as an Assistant Chief Steward at Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel and Conference Centre in Germany. For 10 years during his career at Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel and Conference Centre, he has shown leadership and strategic thinking skills that lead him a position of Food and Beverage Manager managing 1050 rooms, 6 outlets and banquet up to 1200 pax. In 1999, he was transferred to Sofia Hotel Balkan, A Luxury Collection Hotel. After 6 months working as Executive Assistant Manager he was promoted to General Manager for the coming 3 years. Moving forward in 2003, he continued to contribute his management expertise and became the opening General Manager of the first 5 star hotel in Albania at the Sheraton Tirana Hotel & Towers. In 2006, he took over a new role and responsibility to a different brand in Starwood and appointed as General Manager of The Westin Warsaw Poland for 7 successful years managing 361 rooms, 2 outlets and banquet up to 600 pax. With openness to new experiences, exploring new countries, culture and mentalities; in 2013 to 2015 before heading to Jakarta he continued his inspirational leadership to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia whereas he manages 385 rooms, 4 outlets and banquet up to 800 pax for Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur. Stephan Sieberg profound management qualification includes: grand opening, hotel operations, major renovations, outside catering and airline catering. Keraton at The Plaza, A Luxury Collection will be his second hotel in Asia appointed as General Manager. Stephan Sieberg will be managing 140 award winning rooms and 54 private residences, Bengawan Restaurant and Keraton Lounge that feature a world of unrivaled service and authentic five-star dining experience, Keraton Spa – a serene oasis of relaxation with a fascinating view of the city, and its newly opened inspiring executive lounge dedicated for the hotel guests to work in a luminous environment.
