Four Seasons will open Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown in 2016, its second hotel in the city, with 16-year company veteran Peter Humig at the helm. Born and educated in Switzerland, Humig is a tri-lingual globetrotter who was most recently General Manager at the award-winning Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler. No stranger to the American northeast, his previous assignments include management roles at Four Seasons hotels in Philadelphia and Washington, DC, providing him special insights into the diverse needs of international business travellers, urban explorers and the highly sophisticated local clientele.

Peter Humig is an alumnus of Cornell | Executive and Professional Education – Class of 2010.
