Dwayne Williams has joined Magnolia Hotels as Director of Business Development

Jim Finnegan, regional manager for Magnolia Hotel Denver, recently announced that Dwayne Williams has been hired as the property’s new director of business development. Williams has nearly two decades of hospitality experience with upscale hotel brands such as Ritz-Carlton, Park Hyatt and Inspirato. Magnolia Hotel Denver is in the final stages of a multi-million dollar renovation. The hotel is adding 51 standard guest rooms by splitting some of the existing suites. The hotel was originally designed as an extended stay hotel so there are numerous large suites with full kitchens and living rooms. Since the downtown Denver market has shifted from extended stay, the property is modifying its room categories and design to reflect the demand. Williams’ will be responsible for leading the charge in finding new and creative business opportunities to fill the newly renovated property. He started his career with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company working in resort markets such as St. Thomas, Aspen and Beaver Creek, Colo. He’s also honed his skills in larger city properties in markets such as Washington, D.C. in both operations and sales roles. He recently returned to Colorado to oversee concierge services, housekeeping, and maintenance and budget operations for a portfolio of vacation homes.
