Alex Freid has been appointed as Complex General Manager for the 248-key SpringHill Suites and the 250-key TownePlace Suites located at Flamingo Crossings in Orlando, close to the Western Entrance to the Walt Disney World Resort and slated to open in early 2016. As a seasoned hospitality veteran, Freid was most recently the dual General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott Daytona Beach. He was also the Destination Sales Executive at the Marriott Village at Little Lake Bryan, opening General Manager of the SpringHill Suites in Syracuse, General Manager Specialist for 145 specialty select and extended stay Marriott Hotels throughout the U.S., Senior Account Executive for Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott in Syracuse and General Manager & Sales Specialist for Marriott International Eastern Region. He graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. Degree in Business Management.
