Michael Voight has left his role as general manager of the five-AA-star, 82-bedroom Arch London to oversee the opening of a new luxury boutique hotel in Holborn.
He will launch the 40-bedroom L’Oscar hotel, in Southampton Row, in September 2016.
German-born Voight spent just over two years at the Arch London, which he joined from Pennyhill Park, Bagshot, Surrey, where he was hotel manager. He has also previously worked in London at the Connaught, the Berkeley and One Aldwych. During London 2012, Voight ran the accommodation for 2,500 athletes in the Olympic village.
Voight’s replacement at the Arch London is Eva Mount, who joins the hotel from Firmdale Hotels’ Dorset Square property, where she was general manager. General Management Europe United Kingdom London
