Robert Potter
The Manor House, an Exclusive Hotel & Golf Club in Castle Combe, near Bath, has appointed Robert Potter as its new executive chef. Potter joins the Manor House from Lucknam Park where he has led the team at the Michelin-starred the Park restaurant for the last three years under the guidance of executive chef Hywel Jones. Potter replaces Richard Davies who announced last month that he would be leaving after more than eight years. Prior to his current head chef role at the Park, Potter was head chef at Michelin-starred gastropub the Royal Oak Paley Street in Berkshire under Dominic Chapman and prior to that, sous chef at Lucknam Park. He will take up his position at the Manor House in February 2016 following a six-week refurbishment of the kitchen starting in the new year.
