Prateek Kumar has been made area general manager for Dusit International properties in Dubai.
Kumar worked as GM for Dusit International’s properties in Dubai and in Manila. He has accumulated a total of seven years’ experience as GM for Dusit, in these locations.
Previously Kumar worked with hotel groups Ascott Raffles, Starwood and Renaissance.
In his new role, Kumar will be responsible for existing and upcoming properties in the area. The move comes after news that Dusit International has four new hotels planned for the GCC, including two in Dubai alone.
Currently estimated to open between 2016 and 2017, the new planned projects are dusitD2 Residence Al Manzel Abu Dhabi, dusitD2 Tecom Dubai, Dusit Thani Residence Dubai Marina and dusitD2 Palm Mall Muscat.
