Spiridon Sarantopoulos has been named General Manager of the Year at Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts

The purpose of the General Manager of the Year Awards, which were presented at this year's Steigenberger Business Conference in Amsterdam, is to recognise outstanding performances by Hotel Directors in the group. The title of "GM of the Year" at Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts was awarded to Greek-born Spiridon Sarantopoulos, Area General Manager for the Central Region and General Manager of the Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin in Stuttgart. Mr. Sarantopoulos has worked for the company since 2008. He began his Steigenberger career at the group's flagship hotel, the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof, before moving onto the Grandhotel Petersberg in Bonn-Königswinter and arriving in Stuttgart in 2012. Jürgen von Massow, Vice President of Steigenberger Business Hotels, commented: "Over the past few years, Spiridon Sarantopoulos has made a significant contribution to the success of Steigenberger and has achieved the highest performance levels at the hotels for which he has been responsible."
