Johan Persson has been appointed as UK Account Management Director at American Express Global Business Travel

Johan Persson, formerly head of global account management at Radius Global Travel, has joined rival American Express Global Business Travel. He has been named as UK account management director and will be based in London. Persson, who also previously worked as account management vice president at Portman Travel, will be responsible for leading American Express’s UK account management teams and customer strategy, as well as serving as a member of the UK management team. He will report to UK vice president and general manager, Jason Geall, who said: “I am very pleased to welcome Johan to our leadership team in the United Kingdom. Persson is replacing Barbara Fitzpatrick, who left in October.
