Javeria Zafar has been appointed as HR Manager at Movenpick Hotel Bur Dubai

Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai has hired Javeria Zafar as its human resources manager. Holding a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Zafar started her hospitality career in 2008 at Serena Hotels in Pakistan. After three years, she moved to the telecom industry in 2012 to work with the HR operational set-up for a company owned by Etisalat in Pakistan. Zafar then moved to Dubai as assistant human resources and training manager at Majestic Hotel Towers in Dubai. In 2014, she joined Mövenpick Hotel Apartments The Square in Dubai as human resources manager. In her new role, Zafar will be responsible for handling the HR operations for almost 320 associates with her team and will be expected to align the hotel’s HR strategy with the overall business strategy for upcoming challenges. She is expected to enhance HR services, and drive the learning and development function of the hotel.
