Nira Alpina has announced the appointment of Claudia Pronk as General Manager, who has recently joined the design property in the Engadin region of the Swiss Alps. A results driven global hospitality leader, Claudia brings with her extensive experience from within the hospitality industry, from business hotels to luxury resorts. She has also successfully overseen both the general management of established hotel brands as well as several prolific hotel launches which include, The Grand Mauritian, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Mauritius and Le Méridien Hotel Des Indes, The Hague, the Netherlands. Prior to joining Nira Alpina, Claudia held the position of General Manager at the Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa, during which she supervised the hotel’s successful rebrand. Previously she held the position of cluster General Manager across Anantara luxury hotels in the Maldives. After 24 years of dedicated service to the hospitality industry Claudia fulfilled her ambition of undertaking an MBA, specializing in International Business. Following the completion of her MBA at the University of Liverpool in October 2015, Claudia joined the team as General Manager at Nira Alpina.

Giuseppe Artolli - General Manager
4 October 2014 — Nira Hotels & Resorts has appointed Mr Giuseppe Artolli as General Manager of the group’s first Italian property, Nira Montana, scheduled to open on 5th December 2014 in La Thuile, Val d’Aosta.
Boasting a distinguished international career, Giuseppe took his first steps in the hospitality industry at the end of the ‘70s.

Guido Farina - General Manager
19 May 2014 — Shanti Maurice, the luxury boutique resort in Mauritius, has welcomed its new General Manager, Guido Farina. Mr. Farina will replace Mr Duarte Correia, who is to be General Manager at a new Nira Yana hotel, which opens on Pemba Island, Zanzibar in December.
