Ms. Savitri Ramyarupa, Managing Director of Chatrium Hotels & Residences, has appointed Mr. Patrick Manthe as General Manager of Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok and Chatrium Residence Riverside Bangkok effective immediately. In his new role, Mr. Manthe is responsible for the entire operation of Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok and Chatrium Residence Riverside Bangkok and directs all areas of the two properties operations, including guest services, sales and marketing efforts, and hotel administration. A Swiss national, Mr. Manthe has almost 15 years of experience in the hotel industry. He started his professional hospitality career as Sales Representative with the Metropole Hotel Interlaken Switzerland in 2000. He has built up his extensive background in food and beverage service with the Hilton group from 2001-2008 in the interesting locales of Zurich, Bonn, Brisbane, and Maldives. For two years, he was Food & Beverage Manager of Conrad Maldives Rangali Island Resort, before moving on to Vietnam in 2008 as Executive Assistant Manager of the Moevenpick Hotel Hanoi, and later in 2010 assumed the position of General Manager. In 2011, he took the lead as pre-opening General Manager of the Fusion Alya Hoi An Resort, Vietnam. Prior to joining Chatrium Hotels & Residences, he worked with Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn and most recently General Manager of the U Sathorn Bangkok.

Patrick Manthe is an alumnus of EHL Hotel School Passugg – Class of 2000.
