Rushdi Ashkar has taken on the role as general manager for the Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait. Ashkar is a Jordanian national. He brings over 25 years of international hospitality experience to the new role. His CV has included positions with international hotel groups Marriott, Starwood and InterContinental. Ashkar has previously worked with hotel chains in the GCC, including as GM for the Mövenpick Madinah and Coral Hotel Dhahran pre-opening team.
