Michael Adams has been appointed as Director of Sales at Embassy Suites by Hilton Albuquerque

John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts has announced Michael Adams is the new director of sales at the company’s Embassy Suites by Hilton Albuquerque − Hotel & Spa in New Mexico. Adams brings 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry in the Albuquerque area to the role. Springfield, Mo.-based JQH is a private, independent owner and manager of hotels in the United States, including operating more than 1 million square feet of meeting space. Prior to joining JQH, Adams served as resort general manager at the Isleta Resort Casino, where he was responsible for 200 associates and a property renovation. His career also includes director of sales and marketing positions in New Mexico with Hilton Hotel, Fairfield Inn by Marriott, Residence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott branded properties. He is a graduate of the University of New Mexico. In his spare time, Adams serves as a ring announcer for boxing and Mixed Martial Arts events throughout the United States, and he is the recipient of the accolade for Best Play-by-Play Announcer in the New Mexico Broadcasters Association in the metro market for New Mexico.
