Atana Hotel Musandam has appointed David Maiwald as the new executive chef for the resort. A German national, David Maiwald brings experience accrued in hotels around the world including Fairmont and Marriott properties in Azerbaijan, Jumeirah Dhevanafushi in the Maldives, and Kempinski properties in Munich and Moscow. In the GCC region, Maiwald’s previous experience has included roles with the Fairmont in Abu Dhabi, Kempinski in Bahrain, and Ritz-Carlton in Bahrain.
