The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa is proud to announce the appointment of industry veterans Toby Scott-Long as director of operations, Bob Ducy as director of engineering and Tim Wright as director of security. With more than half a century of combined experience, Scott-Long, Ducy and Wright will continue to elevate the resort’s legacy in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains. As Director of Security, Tim Wright will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both guests and staff members alike. Before joining The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa, Wright spent 25 years at the Port of San Diego’s Harbor Police Department where he worked as a police officer, firefighter, diver rescue specialist, and training manager. Wright graduated from the Center for Domestic Preparedness, a COBRA program, and completed Homeland Security training programs with the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard as well as intelligence training with the Department of Defense.
