Hotel del Coronado, San Diego's most iconic beachfront resort, has appointed certified spa and hospitality veteran Holly Edgin as Spa Director. Leading the spa with innovative services, luxury experiences and world-class customer service, Edgin brings over 10 years of industry experience to Hotel del Coronado. Having diligently managed some of the most monumental spas over the U.S. including The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles, The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner, The Ritz-Carlton, Coconut Grove and most recently, The Peninsular Hotel, Chicago, Edgin was additionally recognized as The Ritz-Carlton Worldwide Employee of the Company in 2013. Under Edgin's leadership, The Spa & Salon at The Del is excited to debut a brand new menu that will accompany the already signature experiences available to Del guests and locals alike. Launching late summer 2016, guided meditations and south healing will add to fitness activities like Beach Spin and Yoga on the Beach. Holly has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Leisure and Sports Studies with minors in Sociology, Fashion Merchandising and Theatre from both the University of Iowa and the Art Institute of Chicago. She has also been a certified personal trainer for more than 14 years.
