Marriott International announced the appointment of Jose Torres as General Manager for Los Sueños Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort. With more than 18 years of hospitality expertise, Torres will take the helm of the renowned property, concentrating on elevating guest satisfaction and managing day-to-day operations leveraging the resort’s dynamic and cultural experiences. Torres joins Los Sueños Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort after having held various leadership positions across the Caribbean and Central America. His most recent post was at the JW Marriott Panama Golf & Beach Resort where he successfully led the team in achieving a higher service index score, increased Food & Beverage revenue and profit, and increased YTD Overall Satisfaction. Prior to Panama, Torres held positions as General Manager at San Juan Water Beach Club Hotel, General Manager and Co-Owner at Pasha Restaurant in San Juan, and Corporate Food and Beverage Director at Caribbean International Investment Group, among others.
