The Tides Inn has appointed Susan Holland as its new director of sales. Holland joins the Tides Inn with more than 20 years of Virginia hospitality experience. Most recently, she served as the corporate sales manager at Early Mountain Vineyards in Charlottesville, VA. Prior to that, she held various sales roles at properties including The Boar’s Head in Charlottesville, VA and the Omni Richmond Hotel. Holland is a graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. Holland oversees sales strategy and operations for the 106-room Tides Inn as the director of sales. Her extensive hospitality experience and familiarity with the mid-Atlantic market will enhance the Tides’ efforts to remain one of the top event resorts in Virginia. Holland, Isaacson and Lorson’s combined experience and expansive expertise will allow the Tides Inn to continue attracting new and repeat guests who seek the full-service offerings of the destination resort.
