Doxis Bekris has been appointed as Executive Chef at Raffles Dubai

Raffles Dubai has appointed Greek national Doxis Bekris as the new executive chef of the property. Bekris brings over 20 years of experience to the role. He originally joined FRHI in 2010, taking on the role of corporate food & beverage/culinary director for Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts, overseeing the brand’s worldwide F&B operations. Bekris holds a bachelor degree in Hospitality and Licensed Retail Management from the University of Wolverhampton in United Kingdom. He is also the co-author of several cookbooks, including Famously Mediterranean. Within Dubai, Bekris has worked with properties such as The Address Dubai Mall and Kempinski Mall of the Emirates. Bekris joins Raffles Dubai directly from his last role within FRHI, as the group executive chef for FRHI properties in Kenya: Fairmont Mara Safari Club, Fairmont Mount Kenya and Fairmont The Norfolk.
