Mehdi Othmani has been appointed as General Manager at Hilton Salalah

Mehdi Othmani has joined Hilton Salalah Resort in Oman as the new GM of the property. Othmani, a German-Tunisian citizen, joined the property in March, bringing 22 years of hospitality management experience to the Omani resort. Othmani holds a masters degree in hospitality management from Almeda International University, and a certification in financial management of hotels from Cornell School of Hotel Administration. His career began, as a lecturer, teaching at the Mediterranean Institute of tourism in Tunis. Subsequently, Othmani worked in a number of countries worldwide, including Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Turks & Caicos Island, Morocco, Kenya, Egypt, Uganda and Oman. Before joining Hilton Worldwide, he also worked for Moevenpick Hotels and Resorts, Occidental Allegro Hotels & Resorts and REWE Touristik.

Mehdi Othmani is an alumnus of Cornell | Nolan School of Hotel Administration – Class of 2006.
