LBA Hospitality, a full-scale hotel management, development and consulting firm, has named Elaine Myers area general manager for five Dothan-area hotels, including Hilton Garden Inn, Clarion Inn & Suites, Courtyard by Marriott, Residence Inn and Hampton Inn. In her new position, Myers will serve as a liaison between LBA, the regional director of operations and the property general managers to offer additional insight and support. She will also continue in her role as general manager of Hilton Garden Inn Dothan. A seasoned hotelier, Myers has spent the past 12 years serving in various roles at LBA’s Dothan hotels. Under her guidance, Hilton Garden Inn Dothan garnered LBA’s 2015 Hotel of the Year award. From the same property, Myers oversees company-wide general manager training. She is also active in supporting the LBA C.A.R.E.S. program, which enables associates to give back to their local community. LBA President Beau Benton is excited for the added guidance and knowledge Myers will bring to the properties. Myers, the only LBA associate to hold this title at present, cites the people she works with and the strong relationship with all of her colleagues as reasons she loves her job.
